New office completes at Leicester Waterside

The redevelopment of Leicester’s Waterside area has reached another major milestone, as the first phase of the new office complex fronting the A50 Northgate Street, has now been practically completed.

Brackley Property Developments, have completed the first phase of the Waterside scheme, which comprises a new Grade A office building of circa 17,000 sq ft designed and built to the specific requirements of YU Energy. The building occupies a prominent position at the corner of Soar lane and Northgate Street.

The building has been designed to reflect the industrial heritage of the Waterside area and features a distinctive metal roof and a full height glazed front to the two-storey building.

This building represents the first of three proposed office buildings, which will provide a combined total of over 55,000sqft of new workspace from 2,500 sq.ft. upwards.

The building was practically completed in February 2021.
