Practical completion for the final prime industrial/warehouse units at Reedswood, Walsall.

Commercial developer, Brackley Property Developments (BPD) and specialist property investment firm, Leftfield have completed construction of a prime industrial/warehouse scheme in the West Midlands.

Leftfield Park, Walsall – previously part of  Reedswood Park – comprises two new detached units of 35,000 sq ft and 75,000 sq ft in an established commercial location near junction 10 of the M6 motorway.

The new units have been pre-sold to Leftfield and are suitable for a range of occupiers on leasehold terms.

Completion of the scheme marks the final phase of development on a 10-acre plot off Reedswood Way, Walsall.

Phase one was developed in a joint venture between BPD and Antringham Developments and created two industrial/warehouse buildings totalling 50,000 sq ft. Unit 1 was pre-sold to FW Thorpe and Unit 2 was pre-let to Love Shopping Direct Limited.

Stephen Pedrick-Moyle, managing director of BPD, said: “Leftfield Park delivers two prime, high quality industrial/warehouse units in a region where demand for mid-box accommodation continues to outstrip supply.

“We are very pleased to have partnered with Leftfield to deliver the scheme, which successfully builds on the first phase of development at Reedswood Park.”

Leftfield Park, Walsall is centrally located in the heart of the West Midlands conurbation, providing easy access to Junctions 9 and 10 of the M6 motorway, dual carriageway access via the A34 and linkages to the M6 Toll Road.

It will also benefit from a £65 million road improvement scheme which is being delivered by Walsall Council and Highways England.

The site adjoins Reedswood Retail Park, with local amenities including Sainsbury’s, Matalan, B&M, Dunelm, Pets at Home, McDonald’s and Carphone Warehouse.
