Fabric Building at Friars Mill, Leicester has been sold to an owner occupier

Brackley Property Developments are pleased to announce the disposal of the last remaining unit at Friars Mill Office Park. The office park is a vibrant commercial development brought forward by the Council, which undertook the first phase comprising the refurbishment of the Grade II-listed Friars Mill itself offering managed workspace overlooking the Grand Union Canal.
The scheme is seen as an important catalyst for growth in the city, attracting major investment and revitalising a rundown area within a scenic riverside setting.
Brackley Property Developments, developed Phase 2 of the scheme which provided architect-designed, open-plan office accommodation over two storeys. The scheme comprised two buildings known as the Riverside Building, extending to 5,583 sq ft of space, and the Fabric Building being approx 4,940 sq ft.
The two storey Fabric building, was constructed speculatively to a high specification, and was sold in 2020 to the Consultas Group. The Riverside building was sold in 2019 to Unite.
Being situated within the Waterside Enterprise Zone occupiers of the office park, benefit from rate relief for a period of 5 years (subject to a maximum cap).
